So far the five of us have put on about 800 miles. Took the ferry Sunday and rode to Peggys Cove where we spend Sunday and Monday nights. Monday we rode most of the Annapolis Valley then spun down to Atlantic Motosports Park...but the gate was down so all we got was a picture of the sign. There has been rain all around us but we have missed almost all of it!
Today we took a bunch of great roads and arrived at Cape Breton (Port Hood) at about 3:00. The others where whipped and took naps!
Tonight we went to Mabou for a Cedalegh.
Tomorrow we ride the Cabot Trail including Meat Cove.
Pics and trip report when we return....

Great to hear you guys are having a blast. Really really wish my work had not screwed me out of this - next year! Eagerly await the pics and report Dave - ride safe!

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Can't wait to see pics, I want to do that ride at some point when I can get time off from work to make the trip.
HAH!!! As you know, he has no rear sprocked. Miss you Skip...you should be here! Having dinner in about 10 minutes at Haus Treuburg...no hot dogs for Bruce!
AND...we all went swimming at Meat Cove. There is a restaurant there now...and 4 little cabins. Think next year there's a night at Meat Cove on the agenda.
Great day today...weather was freekin' PERFECT!!!
More later!

Where are you guys headed tomorrow?
That'll be a fun ride, with the ferry and all.
Did Bruce eat all his stroganoff? LOL!![]()
I've been told I need to make this sort of trip. Can't wait to see the pics and read the tales. Happy the weather is working for you.![]()

I did the same basic trip last year -- awesome. Meat Cove was an amazing place to camp. The west side of the Cabot Trail is really nice. PEI is beautiful.
If you guys have time after PEI, you should head up to Gaspé. That was so nice I had to go back last fall.

Here is where Dave and the other members of CST '09 were yesterday. Meat Cove, named after the whales that were brought in by ships that use to unload there.
PEI coastline.
Here is where they are staying tonight and tomorrow. Shaw's.
Staying in a nice cottage like this.
With this view.
If the weather was warm they walked down this path to the beach for a swim.
The beaches have dunes and resemble the Cape with warm water.
Was this you today Dave? LOL!

Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
NIICE. I did the ride up to PEI for vacation last year (wife and kids took the minvan, I took the bike - everyone was happier this way). We are buying a place up there this summer right on the beach.

Nice work Bruce...
Some ride back! Good to know we can get all the way from PEI to home, in the rain, in a pretty easy day!
Man...that was some trip. Excellent weather almost the whole time. As soon as I screw up my ambition I'll try and get a blow by blow posted but for now let it be known there were no tickets, no crashes, no dropped bikes, no fights or arguements, and just lots of great riding in great weather in a great part of the world!
