Uploading pictures?

I don’t know if it’s on my end, or the site, but if I try to upload a picture, nothing happens.

I can use the picture upload box, select the image, and when click upload image, a few seconds goes by, then goes back to the reply page, but there’s no attachment. It’s the same if I use post a reply, or go advanced.

EDIT: I don't have a larger image to test with right now - how big is the file you're trying to attach?

EDIT: I can't reproduce what you're seeing. For reference this pic was 3.4MB and 4080 x 3072px when I uploaded it.

I have no idea how to tell the size of a picture.. lol I would simply take a picture, and upload it, and it would show up. Now it doesn’t, but I’m guessing it’s something on my end, maybe the phone updated and changed settings.

I stopped uploading them because I ran out of space I think. I use tapatalk to upload because it hosts the pictures off site.

have had this happen before as well...usually i will just take a screen capture of the original photo on my iphone and crop off the black frame outside the screen capture to size it down easily for posting and then delete from my phone afterwards but since i use tapatalk for uploads i'm not sure if the size restriction is from tapatalk or this forum

I'm not sure if Tapatalk has separate settings for any of this but on the forum the upload file size limit is 32MB and images are automatically resized down to 1024px on the long side, retaining the aspect ratio.

i want to say it does as iphone photos are around 5MB and i bump into a size limit on tapatalk...let me test now



4.4MB photo worked fine…maybe their limits are higher now
