    Another Bostonian here..

    Hey Guys,

    Name's Tony. Relatively new to the riding world, but been around motorcycles my whole life. I worked part-time at Greater Boston Motorsports in Arlington, MA for a couple years where I learned tons and gave me the extra coin to support my new-found riding habit.

    In September of '09, I picked up an '03 Ninja 636 with 4500 miles for a steal and just put it away this past weekend with 10,146 miles. Ride every day I can regardless of weather, but now that there's salt on the road, so I figured it's time to put her to sleep for a couple months.

    I actually live in Malden, but spend most my time in the city... Fiancee lives right near the Science Museum (Cambridge) and I work in the Financial District. You work in Boston?

    Nah, Brian's a great guy. I certainly trust him enough to battle him on the track, so that says somethin.

    I also work in Boston. I split my time between 1 Lincoln and Copley.

    Do you ride into work? Or are you like Brian where you cant have a road bike because every street turns into a race track?

    Nah, I wouldn't necessarily say she "rides" just yet - I put her on the back of it a few times now (late this season). She didnt enjoy the highway so much, but she is a fan of the backroads. We'll see how things go next season..

    And yeah, probably was me on 16, used to take that all the time headed to GBM to visit and for parts. Once the weather gets a little better, i'll let you know when we (myself and a few GBM employees) go for a ride!

    Thanks man! Yeah, I love it! Dont really see a reason to get a larger bike just yet riding around here. Although did do a few highway trips to NH and CT and boy did I wish I was on a 1000.

    I have no problems riding street & keeping things "tame" ( ) but I only rode into work a couple times this year. My work commute is all highway & traffic which isn't much fun at all on my street bike despite the upright dirtbike style bars.

    Yeah, I hear ya. I ride every day in the traffic. Not fun, but hey, I can take the carpool lane and parking is free in the city. So, it is much worth the stop and go!
