Just posting up to say hello. Joined the forums a few days ago and just been kinda lurking around, getting the feel of the place. I dont know if you realize this, but you're all a bunch of wise ass bastards. Once I saw that, I knew I had to stay.
Been riding for about 5 years I guess. First started on an old 95 ninja and used it for more of a commuting thing. Then went on a ride a few seasons ago with "a friend of a friend" and was shown the light. Just trying to get smarter, smoother, and faster in that order I suppose.
Sold the ZX6r this winter(wanted to keep it and start doing track days with it, but alas the wife had none of that). Started looking at bigger bike due to my ,ughem, larger then average size. But just didn't think I had the ability for a liter bike quite yet.
Saw an article about the new Triumph Daytona 675 in a magazine and how it's #1 flaw was that it was too tall. Got the chance to sit on a Factory owned demo bike in February and that day put a deposit down. I picked it up, in the rain, April 1st. Loving everything about it so far
Here she is waiting for me to take her home for the first time:
Ok sorry for the novel, hope to see you on some rides this year.
That looks like the bay at Naults.
Welcome! And the wise-ass attitudes are just part of the allure of this forum.![]()
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
Naults. That it is. Too bad I got a letter in the mail a week or so ago letting me know that they dont sell or deal with Triumph anymore. They've tranferred the "Triumph Franchise" to 2nd Wind BMW.That looks like the bay at Naults.
Once they are up and running it will be better anyway. They are closer to me then either Naults locations![]()
Nice looking ride mate...
Welcome to the forum.
And just to set the record straight. I'm still a newbie to the forum and not one of the "wise ass bastards"...

He's since done the penguin racing school and was at the first LRRS race, and raced the weekend before it was shut down because of the monsoon. I hope to be up there hanging out for the classic. I'll have to make the rounds and meet some of you guys.
aww ok... cuz I spent some time talking & riding w/ the owner of the very same bike you've got at a recent Tony's Trackday & afterwards he let me take it for a rip & i loved every lapDefinitely an amazing bike

Yeah, the bike is great so far. I tried to be a good boy during break in, made it longer then most on the 675 forums..hah. She makes a great howl in the higher RPMS stock. Beats the hell out of the old Ninja.
I'm in Milford NH
Great looking bike... I'd like to check one out up close.

Dont get my hopes up. I dont think it's ever going to stop. As someone said in the other forum, I should have bought a freakin boat instead of a bike.Sure thing, we'll ride this summer. As soon as this Fucking rain stops and the roads dry up...
