Another new guy...

Another member on here (Sheppo) referred me to the site, so i trolled around a little bit and decided to sign up. I live in southern NH, and tend to ride old crap

Right now my one and only running bike is a 1978 Suzuki GS750, which has been nicknamed trusty rusty. Its got right around 50k miles on it, and puts up with all the abuse i put it through. Mods include exhaust, pods, progressive suspension front and rear, and a couple other smaller things here and there.






The other bike I have at the moment is an 82 Suzuki GS850GL. it sat outside for who knows how long and got thrown over a snowbank with a plow truck. I scooped it up for free as a project and still havnt decided which direction to go with it.





But anyways, just figured id post up and say hello!

Nice bike, I love those old machines. Have you taken that to bike night before? I think I remember seeing an old suzuki as part of Sheppo's entourage when he arrived one night.

My 1980 Suzuki GS1000G has 74,000 miles on it. Leaks oil like a sieve, but it's still going strong.

I've got some parts that might fit your 850.

Yup, the bucket has made the voyage to bike night a few times with Sheppo. If I ever get off my ass and get it ready for this years riding season ill be going again.

Dont get me wrong, I absolutely love my bike and will ride it as long as I can get parts for it. Its just definitely not a show quality bike, or even close to that..lol Im a member over on the gsresources. I lurk around every once and awhile but the drama etc usually keep me away from there. I usually just keep an eye on the rides section and try to catch those whenever I can.


Im not sure if im going to keep the 850 or part it. Ive never been all that found of shaftie bikes, but we'll see what happens. Id really like to get my hands on an 1100..but it seems like whenever I have cash in hand they are nowhere to be found.
