The name is John,
In the year 2009 I was 20 years old in Montana when I flipped bikes from a 1979 Vespa Piaggio scooter to a weird chopped 70's era dirt bike before finally landing a 2001 Speed Triple. Loved the bike but in fear I flipped it 8 months later to make a cool $1000. Now, I have graduated college at UMass Lowell, got a decent sustainable career started and am ready to once again join the ranks of riders in this great land. A coworker of mine who would prefer to remain anonymous showed me the site.
I travel between southern NH and CT often so I hope to see you guys out there easy riders of New England.
Welcome aboard!

Hi John!
I started with a 79 Vespa too...actually in 1979, haha. Man I miss that thing. Had to leave it in Texas when I moved to CA.. Now like 100 years later it seems, I have 600rrs and Groms for mini track but I hope to buy a KTM 690 to store there in NE for when I visit my family.
Are you going to get another Triple? Hope you land your next dream machine and see you out there.
Thank you all,
I found that 79 Vespa in a trailer park backyard in Bozeman Montana. Needless to say, I quickly commandeered it from the lovely lady and after rebuilding the carburetor, it worked tremendously well and got me to work everyday for a summer. The dream is real again and I actually sat on the triple for sale up at Monarch Motorsports, my gawd did it feel both comfortable and shockingly intimidating. All these damn ICON videos are bringing out my darkest fantasies of owning a naked again and becoming the hooligan I never was at 19..
Aye aye captain,
Hoping to sign paperwork on a Speed Triple Saturday 😈
