Hi all,

My name is Pieter, and I'm glad I found my way here. I moved here last year from San Francisco and have thoroughly enjoyed my first year here.

I'm 43, and coming off about a 2 year hiatus from riding after a spine fusion surgery. I'm itching to get back in the saddle, and starting to look for a bike. I'm partial to the 2000 VFR800, having owned several. When I sold my last one before the move I thought I was done riding. Two years of healing and physical therapy / lifting have me feeling tip top. I don't want to be done riding, though I don't know how my spine will hold up. In theory I'm healed and good to go; I'm ready to find out!
