Just kidding!
After a long absence from the area, it looks like I will be moving back to Boston from DC. I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you (I'm sure I'll be warned off of getting to know others).
I grew up north of Boston, riding dirtbikes every day after school and didn't make the switch to street until I moved south in 1988 for college (yeah, I'm old). I currently ride a 2002 VFR on the street. I took it on a great trip through New England in 2003 and look forward to getting to know more of the roads up there.
I also have a 2001 SV650S and a 2004 GSX-R1000 both for the track. I have been riding on the track since 2002 (VIR, Barber, Summit Point, BeaveRun). I don't really consider myself a racer since I've only done one race weekend consisting of 3 races with CCS, but I look forward to becoming one. Hopefully I will have more time to devote to it in 2009.
My wife has a 2005 BMW F650CS and is just learning to ride.
Looks like you have an active community here, so hopefully I've come to the right place.
Dave

Welcome to NESR. You will find a great many assholes here who most definitely suck, but we grow on you like untreated scabies. Enjoy!

Thanks for all the welcomes. I will likely end up a little west of Boston this time.
Nesbian, as in NESBA? I used to ride with NESBA but found that I enjoyed Cornerspeed and SBTT better so I haven't ridden with NESBA in a while. In fact, I think I'm still classified as Intermediate in NESBA.![]()
Yes...as in NESBA...I did a bunch of days with them at Summit Point and VIR...as an intermediate.
And yeah....they got too big or something...Tonys, Fishtail, and some private deals are way more fun. Even if you've done Cornerspeed, I recommend doing Penguin at NHMS if you plan to race CCS in NH this summer!!!
I'm sure I'll see you somewhere sometime!

Welcome to the forum! Although I never took the Penguin school, I hear it's well worth it. If (big "if") I can scrape together the cash I'm gonna try & do the Penguin Advanced school this year.
If you end up racing the SV, I'll see ya on the grid!![]()
