Welcome to the site...
Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders.
You said something I don't quite get (and I have heard it before so maybe you can explain).
You said you got your bike because it was a steal you couldn't pass up but admit it might be too much bike for you.
I never understood the reasoning behind this. I bet ya I could find you a really nice low mileage bike for $4500 and it wouldn't be too much bike.
As I said YOU seem to have a good head on your shoulders. I just wonder about the squids with the same story (Too big of a bike but a "deal" they couldn't pass up)
No offense meant.

hahaha, i see what your trying to say, but the 954 is my dream bike and to find one with that low mileage for that price, i couldn't pass it up. yea, it's a big bike and im a little guy haha, i figure i just have to be smart and take it slow for a bit

Oh well Dream bike is another story.
My 998 is my dream bike. I just happen to have 25 years of riding experience before I could afford it. (and it is still ALOT of bike for me).
You'll do fine. At least it wasn't your first bike.![]()

I think it is funny too how different color plastics are offered to different countries around the world. Have you seen some of the plastics that are offered in Europe for the '09 CBR600? Freikin cool. But not so much for us in the US of A. rats.
