Tell me about the Victory. They've been on my radar as of late. Probably gonna take one for a test spin within the next coupla weeks...
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
It was a great bike to me. 1500cc, heavy at 840 pounds (the new ones are lighter,) rock solid power plant. The 5 speed I had was a bit clunky but never missed a shift, the current 6 speeds are very nice. Very high build quality, never had to do any work to it other than oil changes, tires, brake pads, and replaced the fork seals after its 12th season. I owned it for almost 10 years. Honestly can say enough good things about them it was just time to move on. My speed triple became my primary bike very quickly when I bought it in March, poor victory just needed someone to ride it.
I went to MMI I know what Im doing here chief
Hey man. Was nice riding with you up through the Whites last weekend.
Heck yeah, great ride, nice to meet you also.

Oh man.....I know I sometimes talk a lotta shit around here but Victory is where its at. Jay, go ride a Hammer S. You'll buy it on the spot. Pretty much any Victory from 2003 on is way way better than any HD. A VRod comes close, but Victory still wins. Power, braking, cornering....all awesome. I dont like all the styles but the Vegas and Hammer are excellent machines. The Kingpin and Vegas are the same bike other than the fenders and the smaller, wider front wheel on the Kingpin. Go ride one, you'll agree with me....
