I've been a member on another local riding forum for awhile, and since I joined here... I guess I might as well play.
Although I'm trying to sell my bike, I plan on getting back into the game either in the Spring, or when I transfer early next Summer. Even though the riding won't be ideal, my #1 pick is Oahu, Hawaii
Until then the plan is to use the $ I make from my bike to build up my '95 5.0 Mustang this Winter with a H/C/I kit. I know as soon as the bike sells though, the sun will come out, and the temperature will rise and we'll end up having a mild Winter
If I do end up getting a bike before I transfer, I plan on making a few track days before I leave.
Look foward to meeting some of you,
Here's the bike... 2001 CBR 929RE (Origionally Erion Edition)
When i bought it in March it was in really bad shape, cosmeticly, and needed quite a bit. I brought it back from the dead, but the fairings still aren't that great. They do look good from a distance despite the spray paint job, but pretty much every fairing on the bike has some sort of crack.
I saw pictures of the Konica Minolta on a new 600RR, and decided to make a custom version on my 929. I have a bit of history with doing custom spray paint jobs with my bikes...
^ This was the first paint job I did, after I changed it from the ugly black/ with yellow dragons all over itpaint job the previous owner had going on. (I repaired dent in tank with my last re-paint)
^ How the bike looks now.
And below you'll see a few pictures of my old GSX-R600. Which was origionally the common blue/ white scheme. But unfortunatly it was stolen, and a month later I saw the guy riding it down the road... managing to get it back (long funny story). But in the process of getting it back the theif dumped the bike, and I had to either get new plastics or do a repaint. This is where my creativity with spray paint started last Winter...
