Hi Everyone,
I joined NESR way back in 2008 when I had just completed my MBA from Babson College, MA. I had a Kawasaki ZX7R and had the privilege of not only riding with this amazing group but also doing two track days.
Everyone was really warm to the sole brown guy in the group and my online moniker did confuse people. Anyways, I had to come back to India and didn't get a chance to visit USA after that. I did continue riding in India but still missed the group. I also used the skills learned during Tony Track Days to make myself a better rider.
I am visiting the USA to collect an award given to me by my almamater - Babson College. Landing in NY on 18th September and ceremony is on 21st September at Babson College, Wellesley, MA. Any Babson people here? I would be spending the weekend with my college buddies but pretty much free after that.
I do want to tour USA on a motorcyle for about three weeks - return tickets bought for 12th october and definitely want to connect with old buddies, if they remember me - Bergs, Pete, JRO, chuck, jenny, G21forme....
Any rides planned in end of September? Are old members still here? Not sure if I will be able to get my hands on a bike for the three weeks but would like to meet everyone.
Also, I need to buy riding gear -
1. ARAI Helmet or equivalent
2. Leather Racing Suit
3. Touring Jacket
4. An Off roading (motocross) helmet.
I believe since it would be almost end of season, I would be able to get some good deals on them. Please suggest a place to pick good deals.

That probably perfect actually. It’s a FirstGear textile jacket, excellent condition. Lots of reflective material and pockets, a zip-out hood, plenty of vents, and a removable liner that is nice enough to wear as it's own casual jacket. Size Medium, but the sizing runs big IMO (I always had it adjusted as far down as possible at 150-160 lbs). I’d like to get $50 for it. I can send you some pics if you PM me your email or phone.

V Storm might be coming to india in 2019 and I am looking forward to it. While track racing and track days are becoming a thing in India but touring is still the most common form of motorcycling. We have beautiful deserts of Rajasthan and mighty himalayas to explore and therefore touring. Also, the roads are getting better and people do ride long distances on really nice highways.
PS: Please keep those offers considering an unemployed guy from a third world country. We make those riding gears in our sweat shops, remember. ;-)

I don't really have any gear that'd fit you. The 'stitch I have would be a little long in the sleeves.

Sorry, don't remember you, or your ZX7 or trying to bleed the brakes on it. Nope...don't remember any of that.
Bergs.... my friend..... How have you been my friend? I remember your saying 'Ultimately you have to go back home to your dog' :-)
just a little video from my ride last year.
