Hey everyone,
I rode about 15 years (ish) ago and have recently returned to riding. Life has finally made this possible and I am excited. I recently bought a 2001 Suzuki Intruder 1500 and I absolutely LOVE this bike.
Over the last month or so I have been progressively riding more often and working on my skills. My short-term goal is to get the U-Turns and figure 8 down so that I can get licensed. I do have a few friends who are providing guidance and mentorship, but I am always looking to learn more.
I look forward to learning here and sharing what I can when I can. Thanks for having me.
Welcome aboard! You're in a great area for riding!
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
Welcome back to two wheels! If you haven't taken the MSF basic rider course, or it's been a long time, it's worth taking. Not only does it allow you to get your license without testing in front of a Trooper, but it gives you all the practice doing those figure 8s and u turns on someone else's bike.
What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul.

I feel attacked. I just taught my wife to ride and she got her license…. And I recommend the MSF course
Welcome!
I love Suzukis!
