Greetings. New guy here from Salem, Mass. I passed the MSF back in June, got my motorcycle license, and have been riding the wheels off of an '04 Ninja 250. I've been having a great time. I'm 32, and never got on a bike in my life until this year. I wish I had started earlier..
I really enjoy sport bikes and plan to upgrade to something a little spicier next year.. maybe a CBR600RR or a Daytona 675? So many great bikes to choose from...
Any folks in this area up for a ride sometime? Unfortunately, I'm the only one of my friends and family into bikesThank you for having me here.
sorry not very close to you (near boston) but congrats on getting into riding and welcome to the online shitfest![]()
ive got a ton of friends in peabody that are always looking for more people to ride with, ill see if i can get you in touch with them

Keep the 250 if you can when you get a bigger bike, they're a lot of fun!
if Schleppy ever organizes another romantic ride, they leave from Peabody and are a lot of fun!

Cool, what do you ride?
I just did a nice ride today up 127, to 133/1A up to Newbury, then back down. Saw a pack of 5 or 6 guys on street bikes in the Manchester area, probably around 3 PM.
My Ninja is yellow, and I'm always all dolled up in my black Shoei and Fieldsheer textile. I'll probably be out again tomorrow, just trying to rack up as many miles as I can before the summer is over.
I do wish I could keep the 250, it's an awesome commuter bike and I do ride it to work 20 miles or so and back, weather permitting. From a practical standpoint (read: wife) I'll only be allowed to have one bike.
Teach the wife to ride the 250. Problem solved![]()

welcome, I'm over in peabody and am usually looking for people to ride with. My buddy has the same exact bike.
Awesome, glad to see a bunch of locals. I'll ride with any of you guys any time. I'm still a n00b and ride pretty carefully, but enjoy winding the 250 out to the fullest extent of the law (maybe just a wee bit beyond) and shooting the shit about bikes..
I'm working on getting the wife on a bike, but it's a tough sell.. so the 250 will probably be moving on to a new garage when I upgrade.
Welcome
Im right over in Lynn...there are quite a few of us in the area. We usually try and get at least one ride in a week.

Welcome to the site. I'm in Marblehead. Didn't know until now how many others we had nearby. I'll probably be going out this morning for a quick ride I do in the Boxford area and back if you want to shoot me a pm. Otherwise, we'll hook up another time...maybe with some of the others.
