I have received all of my W2's, 1099INT's, 1099DIV's, and other Income forms etc... however, I had 3 student loans that I paid off earlier in the year. But because of my income level I am only allowed to deduct $3, yeah, $3. Anyway, I am getting sick of waiting for the remaining 1098E's since they do me absolutely no good. Since the interest I paid on my student loans will be reported to the IRS does it matter if I don't include it on my tax return since it's a deduction and not income?
Nope, it don't matta none.
Understating a deduction is not a crime.
