Just scored a pair of these at Seacoast. Replacing my Daytonas I bought at MotoMarket about 100 years ago. Wanted a street boot that was waterproof and would serve me well on my Alaska trip which includes over 300 miles of dirt and gravel roads en route to the Artcic Ocean and Deadhorse.
These are not the Gortex version but claim to be waterproof and were quite a bit more affordable. They are easy to adjust (one time) and easy to get on and off!
Thanks Patricia for your guidence and fitting help. You rock, as usual!

Welcome to the squeaky crew.
Yes, we should have t-shirts made up.
Thems are nice. They have the same buckles/ankle hinge as my crossfires, which I can assure you, have seen PLENTY of abuse.
They do creak.

Close your eyes, look deep in your soul, step outside yourself and let your mind go.
My only complaint is the soles seem to be wearing quickly. ... But then the soles are nice 'n sticky. ... I sense a pattern.
I'd not spend hat kind of money on boots that don't have replaceable wearable bits. It'd be like buying a motorcycle with permanent tires.

I hear Seacoast can get these as well.
Yes yes. But that doesn't change the fact that they are wearing fast.
I never said it was a major complaint or anything.
And this...!

I looked at those and wondered about the shifting clearance. Seeing as they are somewhat thicker than my Vertigo boots.
They are certainly different than Vertigo's from a fit under the shifter standpoint. Took a little getting used to, but now I don't even think about how I'm shifting. I think I end up using the "lip" of the sole to catch the shifter, rather than getting my entire toe under it.
I've not had any problems with shifter clearance on the 'strom, KLX, or the Tiger I rented in Kali. Haven't worn them on the SV.
I'm so in love with these boots that I may pick up another pair of Sidi touring boots for lighter duty use. I actually use mine as dirtybike boots as I don't have legitimate ones.
I have the Sidi Canyon Goretex for daily boots. Like them a lot.
Headed up to see Ms.Patricia tomorrow for some new track/sport boots![]()

Nice, I picked up a pair of those on ebay for a smokin deal a couple months ago as my rainy/winter/dualsport boots. I like them so far, haven't tested their waterproofness yet though.
