I try to buy a new jersey each season. Bruschi is one of the ones I have. I will still keep it in the rotation. I have not missed a home game in 5 seasons, and when you are there you HAVE to wear a game jersey....ya know, in case they need you to play...you'll be ready.

I have a Donte Stallworth jersey. Beat that for an utter waste of jersey space. Actually, quick history of my sports jerseys and the fate of the players:

Michael Vick (VT jersey) - Convicted of masterminding a dog fighting ring
Tom Brady (Pats) - Critical (almost career-ending) knee injury sidelined him for entire season
Donte Stallworth (Pats) - Killed a pedestrian while driving intoxicated, served jail time, suspended indefinitely from NFL
Antoine Walker (Celtics) - Charged with three felony counts of fraud over gambling charges ($800,000 debt?)

All of these happened after I bought the jerseys, so I'm having a bad run. But I've also got two more jerseys, a Gary Payton Celts jersey, and a Wes Welker Pats jersey. I winced when Welker was hit in the Steelers game last year, luckily he shook it off. Keep your fingers crossed...

One of my exes picked a new sox player every year to be a fan of. Why a new one every year? Cause EVERYTIME she bought a tshirt or jersey of a player they were off the team next year. It was uncanny.
