Dad accused of using dog shock collar on his kids

SALEM, Ore. (AP) - A father was accused of using a dog shock collar on his four children. Salem Police Lt. Dave Okada said the 41-year-old man was jailed Tuesday on charges of criminal mistreatment. He said the father acknowledged putting the electronic dog collar on his four children and shocking all of them at least once.

According to Okada, the father didn't do it as a punishment. Rather, he thought it was funny.

The children, all younger than 10, are in the custody of their mother.

The case has been referred to state Department of Human Services.

i got 3 kids and have joked about that all the time. i would never do that.
i had one put on my ankle once while sleeping. NOT a good way to be woken up. that shit fucking hurts. lol

my twins got the monkey backpack with the leash for a tail and luv it. they can run, BUT NOT ESCAPE muahahaha

I dated a girl that wore one of these in the bedroom sometimes. She seemed well adjusted. Kids will probably be fine.

My mom used to put tiedowns around my waist when she was scoring endurance races in the early 80's, and I turned out fine......I think?

They also used to strap my car seat to the front tire of a motorcycle in our camper. Maybe my parents were trying to tell me something even then....
