Never heard of him before.
Some of you will want your time back.
Some of you will be breathless.
Some of you will what to know how.
Some of you will want to know why.
All three have something that appeals to me. I can't explain it.

someone likes math....
First one- I like it. Didn't think it would stay up that long (I don't get to say that much anymore). But, where's he get his $$
2nd one- Some money to be made on that one- Lottery. Pick your car, pay your $1.00 if it wins....BINGO!
3rd one- BFD!! the only thing impressive (stupid) is the chick running the old (right side shift) bike...and the stupid people standing around that thing when the bearing let go...all I could think about was why you should never run a bearing, dry, with compressed air while holding it!!! Don't ask why??
Pointless.

It's art. It either creates a response in you, or it doesn't. All three had me thinking and questioning ideas I'd never have considered before. Which, for me, was the point....
The astonishing 'airy' impression of a steamroller floating gently and slowly in a circle. The impression alone made it worthy to me. But then the question of how that worked and the implied math and build behind the effort caused me to respect the energy and thought needed to create the 'impression', made the experience and even truer form of art...to ME.
The HotWheels video was amazing in the layers of detail of the experience. The complexity of the set up, the sound, and the sheer 'volume' of moving parts had me excited. And, again, considering the calculations and build further moved me.
The 'Big Wheel', while simpler on the surface, intrigued me with the contrast of a small, single, vintage motorcycle, moving the huge wheel. Watching it slowly spin up I was thrilled by the transfer of energy from one simple device to an even simpler device. And I wondered, how long will that wheel turn? All day?
Not everyone will appreciate these pieces. My life is just a little richer because of them...
