    Pfft, Bob and Timmy's!

I dunno about any of that fancy stuff.

Brunch=Julian's. it's a hipster sort of a place, but the breffis and bloodies are off the charts.

On the go food= falafel at easy side pockets on Thayer. So effing good.

'Sall I got off the cuff real quickly.

My brother goes to flemmings weekly becuase he's rich. Ive been a few times. Its nice and the steaks are good but you will pay a small fortune. I think my rib eyes were around $60 a peice, sides were about $10 each and water was several dollars per bottle. A dinner for 8 of us cost almost 2g at the end of the night. dinner for 2 with tip will be $200 at the low end.

Fleming's is just ok.I've been to the Providence and Milwaukee area restaurants.

Both are about the same price point. So, stick with what you know, if you're going that route.

Flemings sell overpriced star market steaks. Went there once, never again.

If you are taking the wife out for a romantic type of dinner, I would recommend Siena on Federal Hill in Providence. Place has killer food & app's.

If you want a Fancy Pub with comfort type food with a fancy twist & still romantic as it is on the water, Waterman Grille.

Federal Hill has some great cozy places. Haven't been there in quite some time.

Some people swear by Flemings... Some Ruth's Chris. If those were my only two choices, I'd go with Ruth's.

The wife and I dig Red Stripe. Not that that answers your question, but thought I'd throw it out there.

    Very tasty, not expensive.

Capital Grill is pretty good. And for dessert, check out Pastiche on Federal Hill.
