Ducati Beer!

Hey Guys and Gals,

On my last day at Redhook they surprised me by naming a special beer after me. As you can see from the tap handle that they know my other love is Ducati's and surprised me with the cool handle.

The beer is a German style Hefe-Weizen that is being served only at the brewery in Portsmouth. If you like those kind of beers and ride a Duc (or not, sorry to discriminate) you must ride in and have one. It is very authentic and will satisfy even a real German.

I'm not leaving until Aug sometime. So we might meet again for some fun on the track.

The beer is only on draft. We made it as part of our Brewers Series that will only be served at the Brewery in Portsmouth. I also brewed a German style Pils (Lebewohl Pils) that will be on tap hopefully the second week of July.

Selfishly, I'm sorry you're leaving, but sounds like an exciting change, SS w/ the SS!! Is there a goodbye event at the brewery? I'd change the bike out of its track underoos and ride over to the coast for that occasion . . .

Not sure? Since I'm not working there anymore I couldn't tell you. However if so, hopefully someone at the brewery will let me know.
