Any know if 1.) the explorer sport trac has a load bearing tailgate?
and 2.) with the tailgate down is the "bed" big enough to put a bike in?

and before anyone says it, i know...I'd rather have an Avalanche or a Ridgeline..doing research on them too...

We looked at them a few years ago. It's built on the Ranger platform. I thought it was small and very gutless.

22's might look good but they are good for nothing but more maintenance on your vehicle! Which means more wasted $

Less gas mileage, higher brake where because of the weight to mass ratio is higher. Less Shock absorbing properties making you feel a lot lore of the road. Less steering control because there is more weight to have to steer.

    Any more ?'s

Stay away from the little Ford, go with a used F150 with a 6.5 bed! The 6 cyclinders will last forever, and the 8's Rock! I love my 05 !
