so i just got in from my last Dr. visit. the foot is more or less healed though it's only about 80% now. it'll be a few more months till it's 100%.
anyway, this whole time i have not seen a single X-ray for myself, thanks to RI hospitals new x-ray viewing methods. all x-rays travel by e-mail and the patient rooms don't have working computers. there are no more old fashioned films and light boards. even the DRs hate it, my DR had to resort to drawing scetches on his note pad more than once while explaining things to me. since i wasn't heading back to the orth office anymore i went by radiology and had them put all my files on a CD...cost me 5 bucks but well worth it.
the first 2 are from the day of the accident and the next 1 is with all the hardware on. today was the first time i saw them so i thought i'd share...pretty nasty.

OUCH! That looks painful.
I got the digital ones from my Dr. too. It's pretty badass. Here's my thumb, pretty self explanatory.
Zoomed in.
Here's how they fixed it.

that's some serious hardware on the foot
That must have been really painful. How long did it take to get to 80%?
