Radar Detector Fixed

The long and short of it.

I bought an escort passport8500 radar detector roughly 6 years ago.
the power cord blew a month after the warranty ran out.
they replaced it for free.

A few months ago I was getting false laser alerts. I sent the thing back to escort. for $60 they upgraded the software, put a new power cord, new plastic housing new velcro etc......... Basically got a whole new unit.

It worked mint for 4 months , then it wouldn't turn on. They sent me a free new power cord but that wasn't the problem. So they sent me a pre paid shipping label. They covered this repair under the one they did 4 months ago, turned out to be a bad on off switch. I got it back today. As a bonus I now have 2 power cords so I can leave one on the bike and one in the truck


So once again , awesome customer service from the guys and escort radar.
