I was obviously doing it wrong at the track day I went to, as I couldn't touch a knee, yet scraped a peg in the bowl of all places

Very common with first time/inexperienced track riders. What bike you're riding also plays a huge roll.

I see this dude frequently at the track days out here, not sure I would call his head drag "impressive". Imagine Loudon's bowl but 8 times longer and even more banked, you can drag just about anything in there. Ghillieman is also a former stunt rider, so he's used to doing tricks but when it comes to going fast he would get SMOKED by the competition at the CVMA club. Also, look in the video and see how much he has to strain his neck to actually drag the thing. All the local experts out here could probably do it to if they wanted to ruin their helmets and look like a goon.

I don't know...I kept him "in sight" for a lap...i was happy with that. Dude's pretty fast.
