I hate new york

9 fucking hours to drive what should take 5 1/2. Bumper to bumper traffic from exit 7 on the turnpike, all across the parkway, across the tappan zee (GW was backed up 1-2 hours on both decks) right up to the sawmill. Goddamn city, nothing but a speedbump, whole place should sink into the ocean.

New York is no different than Boston. If you know your way around and learn the traffic patterns its no big deal. If you don't well thats another story...

Heh, I wasn't leaving new york. I was leaving new jersey. But apparently, so were about a million new yorkers. Clogged all the highways like so many angry bees.

Connecticut...connecticut is great. 84 all the way through, never dropped below 85 mph the whole way.

But yeah, no kidding about the leaving new jersey on a sunday thing. I always thought it was shore traffic, figured I'd be fine this early in the season. Nope. Not at all.
