Help with painting estimate

Yes. Stain blocker. That doesnt block stains.

Let me say this again. Killz = garbage.
Bin is an excellent product when used properly. Putting it over mold is not properly.
Mold is NOT a stain. No primer is going to kill whats there. Some have mildewcides to help prevent it, but there is no primer that will kill whats there.

If you are trying to get rid of the mold you'll need a couple days!!

1st spray it with a bleach/water mixture. (this will kill the mold and bleach the ceiling white again)

After it is dry then paint it.

On the ceiling I always use Gliddens ceiling paint that goes on pink and dries white. Makes it easy to see where you have been and compaired to Benjamin Moore's ceiling paint it covers much better.

I always use Benjamin Moore paint for the walls though, I only use Glidden for ceiling paint.

Bleach and water doesnt kill everything, especially the spores that are left behind. Add some TSP in and it makes a world of difference.
The glidden pink/white shit is a total gimmick, which isnt a bad thing, but somethings being left out of the quality to give it this fun gimmick.

Also bear in mind every paint company has 5-6 different quality levels, if you use the best stuff, yah, theres problem nothing wrong. If you use the shit, thats what it is. Company doesnt matter. So to say I use Ben Moore, or Shermin Williams or PPG or whatever is leaving out 9/10s of the information.
You want my opinions on what to use, feel free to PM me. But A. dont argue with me, and B. dont bother if your mind is already set on something. I deal with this enough at work, I dont want to do it in my free time. But Im happy to help people that honestly want my opinions.
