I work for a pretty nice company in downtown boston. Views of Faneuil Hall, and all the such. We're hiring 1 or 2 QA engineers, ideally with a few years experience. We are currently looking for a Software Quality Engineer to join our rapid-release engineering team. This person should be well-versed in web technologies, manual testing, and an expert in quality practices and test case development. You should have a good technical aptitude in order to assist in the development of our automated test system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of our proudct
• Author and execute test cases.
• Document reproducible software issues, escalate critical/blocking issues.
• Work with internal customers to triage issues with the product.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ year of manual testing of web applications with complex user interfaces.
• Experience working nimbly in a high-pressure, rapid development startup environment – 1 week sprints!
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• BS in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with the following: SQL (MySQL), PHP, Unix; Java and/or Selenium, and experience with performance testing are plusses.
• Desire to learn and contribute to test automation.
