The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately
85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she
pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the
motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient
enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers
and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact
and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place.
All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were
killed instantly. This graphic demonstration was placed at
the Motorcycle Fair by the Police and Road Safety
Department.

I think you missed the joke. He said the guy should learn the hard way by being sued, which I thought was kinda funny cause being hit by a bike seems pretty hard.

A couple years back I was riding down a long straight road through a residential neighborhood. This guy raking his lawn sees me coming, throws his rake down, and runs out in front of me...So I stop. He just stood there so I kick my bike into neutral and sit up with my hands on my hips. He then points at me and yells out "SLOW DOWN ASSHOLE!". I responded with "If I am going too fast how was I able to stop without hitting you?" The funny part is I stopped at a normal rate, and there was about 20 feet of space in between us so I had plenty more room. If he really thought I was going too fast why did he feel safe running out in front of me? Some people are just self righteous assholes who are looking for an excuse to play hero.

Who are all these angry people? I've had this happen only twice and both times I was in car doing the speed limit or +5mph. I am often a +10 mph driver but in both cases I was 0-5 over and once in a completely stock Cooper (not my old Cooper S) and the other time in a Vantage. The time it happened in the MINI I was in Dover on an empty road so I stopped and backed up and when I got out to ask the guy if he knew the speed limit was 30 mph he really started yelling and was sort of joggin backward into a field. He acted so mad and was so out of place in Dover that he scared me even though he was basically trying to get away from "me"... I got in the car and left and felt like if he had a gun he might have shot me even though I pulled over more bemused than angry as I was in no hurry and just enjoying a cruise. I just can't fathom being that person even on a really, really bad day. Can any of you? Anyone live someplace where folks speed by lots and it just drives you that crazy?

If you lived in an area where people did that constintly you'd get ticked too. Not to this level but it is pretty dangerous in some areas and they get to see it day in and day out.
