well It just so happens that my honeymoon in Ireland happens to coincide with practice week for the TT. Flights booked, I'll be there on May 27th, leaving on the 29th. Unfortunately I only get one full day there but being that the soon to be wife will be with me, it may work out better that way since I will be more interested about the trip than her. Any must go places, things to see, stuff to do, from those that have been?

Here's some advice. Make sure you're goin to the right place. The motorcycle racing is at the Isle of Man. Not Mann.
;-).
When in Dublin, drink in places other than temple bar area. The prices are double in temple bar.
Enjoy the trip.
keyboard skills are lacking.... we're all over, shannon, galway, london, IOM, dublin, home... gonna be a great and busy 2 weeks

Haha. That's exactly my honeymoon agenda 10 years ago.
Tough to know what you're into but I would not miss the Tower of London if you want to see about a million muskets on racks in one room and some of the biggest diamonds in the world.
What are your interests? How long are you in western Ireland? Will you have a car?
thinking a car for western Ireland, we land Monday morning and have two nights in Shannon, figuring the 1st night will be iffy depending on our condition. Then will probably rent a car and head to the cliffs of Moher, then up past Galway. I haven't rented a car, but will probably do so for the first week of the trip since we'll be traveling up and down the coast of western Ireland. Not sure what the public transportation situation is there so I'm figuring it maybe easier to just get a car. After that, we'll be flying and in London or Dublin where I think a car will not be needed.

Well be careful. When you rent a car in Ireland they will want a credit card hold for the full value of the car or extortionate insurance, like $100 a day. Just a heads up
If you want to have an evening of real authentic Irish pub entertainment, go o a bar called "the goalpost" on Cathedral street in Dublin. It's right off o'connell street which is the Main Street in Dublin. Most nights they have a real sesian where musicians come in and just join it with other musicians. A lot of fun and great music.
If you can, visit trinity college library (again very close to oconnell st) where you can check out the book of kells.
I have a ton more suggestions. Ill have to think on it.
I may try to rent now for pick up when I get there, I've noticed a lot of gimmicky insurance stuff with flights, especially Ryanair and flybe, Europe seems much cheaper on flights but nickel and dime everything.

Renting in advance doesn't help I'm afraid.
Well, the confusion is understandable. While it is 'The Isle Of Man' it is also referred to simply as 'Mann'. Those Manxers, set out to confuse everyone!
And if that's not enough, there's their flag:
Throw a Manx anywhere and he'll always land on his feet!
If there is ANYTHING you can do to stay for the whole event DO IT. You will be kicking yourself in the ass for the rest of your life for being that close and not staying! I mean seriously, you can have a honeymoone anytime! (No charge for the advise! Have a great time!)
OH...and in Dublin, Trinity College Library is very cool and where you can see the Book of Kells. That way you can show your wife you're not just a gear head!
EDIT: FU DEGSY. NO FAIR POSTING BEFORE ME...!

Well I just got into the hotel on the Isle, we're about a 5 min walk from the grandstands, I'll take some pictures at practice tonight and try to get them up
Speed is covering it for us here?
DirecTV channel 281 6/2 + Velocity
Got it set on the DVR.
Well I have some pics and some video from the grand stand, unfortunate red flag today that ended practice though
Matsushita. RIP.
I'm having trouble getting video/photos off the camera now(only an ipad) will be at my computer Friday
Here's a lesson for everyone, DO NOT walk from Douglas to Creg Ny Baa, shoulda thought a little more into it, mountain road does not have a side walk
Hey, guess I missed this. Wife and I got a VIP pkg. for thurs-tues, staying in the snooze box mobile deal in Douglas. We're having a 5 day blast here in Belfast. Awesome walk around city. RIP to the rider last night. He did well last year on an electric Zero class bike. The TT does not forgive.

You are literally about 500 ft from the grandstand, if I ever come back that is where I would stay
