Next on my list of homeowner problems…the lawnmower. Used it fine all last year. Used it without issue two weeks ago. Now it will start but won't stay running. Runs forever on starting fluid (kept it running for 3-4 minutes hoping it would clear whatever the issue was). Has fresh gas, clean carb and a clean plug. Gas is flowing into the carb. Any guesses? I have a million other (interesting) projects and don't want to waste time on it.
fuel filter?
That's what I thought. It doesn't seem to have one. It's got a screen where it exits the tank. Gas flows fine out of the tank and into the carb.
Clean the jets in the carb. They are likely gummed up. The Harbor Freight ultrasonic cleaner is perfect for this.

I know that's the answer, but I really didn't want to hear it.
I'll put that in line behind the jet ski with the seized motor, VF1000 with the roached clutch and the Bandit with screwed up throttle cables
Pinesol soak the carb.
What's the story with your fucked up jetski? I've got over half a dozen.. Wanna sell it?
