I'm looking to rent snowmobiles with my gf's family near Hardwick VT. Any suggestions?
Hey Pete, I'm heading the way today and will ask around. Will post back within the next 24hrs.

I grew up in Hardwick. I don't know of many rental places, Stowe might be the closest (35 minutes from Hardwick).
The trails are in poor shape due to the warm weather and the rain. There are also lots of trees across so the majority of the trails were closed a too. They may have changed that as we saw a bunch of guys going up buffalo mt. Behind a groomer last week.
Try All Around Power in St. Johnsbury Center. Not too far from Hardwick. All Around Power Equipment

Thanks guys. After reading those trail condition reports, we may wait until later in the season.
closest sled rental to hardwick is probably Northeast Kingdom Adventures ATV & Snowmobile Tours in Vermont in Danville
about 15 miles

A friend of mine rode from East Haven north to the Norton area on Tuesday. He said northern trails are in great shape, power lines especially. However, with the warm weather and expected vacation week riders, I'm guessing they're going to get torn up pretty quickly.

We had a great start at Thanksgiving but this rain is covering most of the region. A setback.
Our 2007 Yamaha Phazer wasn't shifting into reverse properly: it's s button on the dash. Made an appointment at Freedom Cycle in Concord and they found a recall on a switch connector so it may be covered as a warranty repair.
