Looks like the Mitchell Report comes out this afternoon. Anyone want to take a guess as to who's on it?
Top of my list: Roger Clemens

I hope this forces the game to really clean up its act, but other than that, I dont think naming players is going to accomplish anything. At least the people that DIDNT cheat can finally be recognized. But all stars, MVPs, Cy Youngs are all supposedly on the list, it just taints all the records. Plus, 50-60 out of 1400 or so players in the time frame covered is like 1% of players, it just brings unwarrented negative attention to the game. Blah to everything.
But my vote is Bonds, Giambi, McGwire, Sosa, Clemens, (God I hope not, but Im afraid Papi) and LOTS of no names
I;m not much of a baseball fan, so forgive me if this is an ignorant question, but why do they just not have drug testing mandatory? Its mandatory in all pro fighting sports, so how hard would it be to draw blood once a month from pro ball players?![]()
Unions are once again making the US a great place!

2020 BMW R1250GS Adventure Exclusive
1982 Honda CB750F Super Sport
Well, again drawing from pro fight sports, its not the league/organization that dictates the drg testing, its the state sanctioning bodies. The Nevada State Athletic Commission tests all of the pro MMA fighters in Nevada (Las Vegas), whether its a UFC fight, EliteXC, PRIDE, whatever.
I dont see why the Federal Government and/or state gov's couldn't do the same thing, without saying word one to the union.
Because baseball makes the states a WHOLE lot more money than any of those. And fans love the longball. Money rules everything, dont forget this. I wish it was easy, I wish they did it a long time ago. Baseballs my favorite sport and I hate this whole asterisk debate and stuff, I wish it could've been pure. Oh well
I am sure that baseball makes a lot more money than pro fights, but if people - specifically Congress - are going to get all bent out of shape about players using steroids, the answer seems simple .
It will be interesting to see who is on this report, and what sort of backlash they have from their fans.

Guapo!?! Cmon, no way he was on the juice, unless it was like, pure stuffing. And VTek, I may cry, hes the best.
But if that list is correct its like I thought, a couple stars everyone figured anyway, and a whole lot of borderline players that I cant blame trying everything they can to stay in the game and make some money
Trot Nixon, that's a a sad thing. Johnny Damon, too.
WOW! 'TEK?
Is that the real list?
LOL eric gagne. How bad was he WITHOUT the juice?
Varitek is not on the "real" list. Gagne is.
There's a friggin book on Clemens.
Yea I was worried because earlier today a bogus list came out posted by WNBC which contained Varitek and Tavarez, neither of which are on the real list.
Friggin Nomar- flash back to his Sports Illustrated cover flexing his new found muscles. No Manny, Ortiz, Lowell or Beckett!!!!
really. It's part of the job.

You start digging and there are just crazy articles out there from the past few years talking about how hard these guys worked out..
SI practically worships Clemens and his "workout" routine.
