We might be pulling the trigger and throwing down an offer on a condo in Nashua, anyone else in the area???
I was born and raised there. I live in Merrimack about 10 minutes away now. It's not as nice as it used to be, but its not bad. What's nice about the area is you are right in the middle of everything.
Where in Nashua is the condo? I can give you some honest feedback. My best advice is avoid the south end. Traffic can suck, especially during the fall and christmas months, but then again it all depends on what your looking for in a place.
off 111 next to st Josephs hospital around exit 5
I would recommend staying away from the tree streets (vine st, pine st etc). It's the worst part of Nashua. Depending on where you are talking about you could be close. It's been a few years since I have really hung around there so I guess I can't say how bad it is these days. To be honest with you, depending on your price range there are a lot of places just outside the city, like where I am in Merrimack ,that are nice. I guess it all depends on what your needs are.
192 Kinsley st??? not sure if that's in the area ur talking about
Just west of rt3? I know the street. I'm not a fan of nashua, but that's a good distance from the worse of it. Though there are some questionable people in the condos around there. Don't take advice from me though, I live in the woods and keep a rifle by the door and a handgun on the nightstand.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
ha, sounds like Maine to me... we are going up to check it out on wed and see what the areas like
so hows the area around that address?
Kinsley St area is kinda "meh", IMO.
Have you looked into Hollis Crossing? Condos and apartments to choose from.
the big thing that stuck out about this place was the fact that its got a 2 car garage for 200k
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
192 Kinsley St. is near the highway so thats out of the bad area. If you are in the 200K Range, Stoneman is right, look just a bit further north. Where do you need to commute to?
Me and the fiance both work in in Burlington ma so that's a little to far of a commute for right now unfortunately, commuting almost an hour with no traffic is a little far. We looked north and were excited with what we found minus the commutestupid traffic!!!
I live right over in salem, cruise to nash regularly
yea i cant wait to get away from Boston, hate slabbing it to any good twisties and storrow dr is getting old
2 words: Litchfield, NH...![]()

Depending on your standards there are some great rides right out your door if you do buy the place. I am a big fan of the Hollis loop for quick after work rides. If you want to venture out further you can head through Hollis and either out into North Western MA, or Western NH. The roads are a little rough, but it's scenic and rural.
You should setup your showing for 6-7 on a saturday and get a feel for what your neighborhood is going to be like.

wish we could, wedding is this sat and then we are gone to the Dominican for a week so its either wed night or in a week and a half - 2 weeks. We want to at least get a feel for the place before we leave that way we can throw an offer down if we like it. Easier to communicate by email while we are down there then to wait till we get back and its potentially gone.
Assuming the middle point is Rt. 3/Everett Tpk. If you and your future wife plan on having children take a good look at the schools. There are even points west that bus kids back to the east. Honestly, Nashua is a great place to shop and eat but there are better places to live. 10-15 minutes from Nashua lets you access all the good parts while living among nicer neighbors.
I commute to Burlington from the 'coast. The commute blows. But I have some latitude with work and commute off hours; I am at my desk by about 6:30 AM and hit the door running between 3:15 and 3:30 unless the poo hits the oscillating blades.
I lived in down-town Nashua (off Kinsley, but closer to town) for like 5 years. At the time I worked off Lake Street. Had a 4 mile commute, if I hit the grocery store on the way home.
But life sucked. Spent every weekend trying to GTFO. Nearly got cuffed n' stuffed walking home from work one night because the (overworked, under experienced) local LEO mistook me for a wife beating scumbag. Fell asleep to sirens all the time. One morning I watched a drugged up SOB get chased out of a convenience store by an owner with a baseball bat. Fuck that.
There isn't a chance in hell I'd live anywhere in Nashua between the highway and the Merrimack. No way. That isn't the NH I grew up knowing.
But yeah, good luck!
One of my buddies lives in a condo on the other side of the highway twards Hollis. It's a world different. Neighbors that work for a living. People with something to loose in life. Decency. All that jazz.
Frankly when I bought my condo I wanted to be in the area but I made it a point to stay out of Nashua. I intentionally looked in Hollis, Merrimack, etc. If you were looking to buy a house there are some great neighborhoods there, but when it comes to condos none of them are where I would want to live.
This is only going to be a 5 or so year hold over till we migrate everything to NH including jobs and stuff and have a little more freedom in where we can life and whatnot
