NESR Paintball Outing..

Just trying to judge interest in something like this.

This place is in Windham, nice fields, good guns, reasonable prices.

Call it about $75 for the day for 5 or so hours of shooting your friends. I'll handle the reservations and all that jazz. If we get 10+, we're our own team. If we get 20+, we'd play 10 on 10. But regardless, even if only a handful show up and come out, it's a really good time and hell.. You get to play with guns.

This is the best time of year for it, because the weather's cool enough for you to wear a couple layers (great for when a random shot comes careening towards your groin), and the ground's muddy and dirty (So it's like.. Primal and nasty and shit like that). Plus there's very little, if any, poison ivy (though the field's really well maintained anyways) and no bugs.

So.. Anyone interested? I was thinking some weekend in April or thereabouts.

I have a gun of my own, Raptor, 18" barrel, exp chamber, blah blah, but when I play there, I just use the field guns. Don't have to chrono 'em to fuck around with the speed, can beat the crap out of htem, and if they blow an o-ring or break in some other way you can just grab a new one.

I'm sure you'll see enough of an interest to make two teams, If not I know of about 5 people I could get, one is a ARMY reserve and has a 98% average for sharp shooting.

Every time I have played I go through way too much ammo and it cost me a small fortune. Find out if this place lets you bring your own ammo please. Thanks,

Gotta use their paint, unfortunately.

But as long as you aren't one of those guys who shoots a full hopper walking out to the field, it isn't that pricey.

I use about 1/2 a case in 5 hours. And I am like the ninja... All stealth and killin shit.. and shit..yeah...

I'll go as long as my shoulders are healed enough to prop the gun up for a few hours.
If anyone is interested, Canobies big game is April 27, 30 dollars to get in, free air/co2 all day, free lunch raffles and stuff. Over 500 people at this one game it's really huge. If i can, I am gonna be there.

I did that last year - it's kind of a giant clusterfuck. Basically plan on taking 500 random shots to the balls, and getting killed once by an actual shot intended for you.

Still fun though. I'll probably be there this year too.
