Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday is Sat. August 14, 2004
On August 14, 2004, all non-business retail sales of tangible personal property costing $2,500 or less are exempt from state sales and use taxes. Please see Technical Information Release 04-14 (TIR 04-14) for further information. Retailers are required to document all transactions totaling $1,000 or more by obtaining and keeping a Massachusetts Sales Tax Holiday Purchaser's Certification of Non-Business Use, signed by the purchaser of the exempt items(s). no taxes on clothes here in MA. So yeah, wgaf...lol Besides, from where I come from (Quebec), everything is taxed like crazy! 16%+ taxes on clothes, food, services, it kills you quick. So I really don't care about paying little taxes here.![]()
