a roof of about 20 sq on an old stone house... 12/12 pitch, nothing fancy, just one long ridge and a chimey at each end of the ridge. (no dormers or valleys or anything like that) ...
what would you charge (labor, materials and disposal of old shit) to tear off the old tin roof and replace with a shingle roof... and what about a standing seam metal roof? (ballpark numbers, not real quotes)

For comparison, I *THINK* we payed $3500-$4000 for 15 square. It included removal of two layers of shingles, disposal, replacing some sheets of plywood, and installation of 30 year shingles and TWO coarses (6') of ice shield...
Check the code in Merrimack. My roof didn't have enough pitch to do a metal roof (up here). Plus the metal roof was about twice as much...
