You can't run bikes on carfax. I've tried with mine, and others... no dice.

I'm not sure how to check bikes. Local law enforcement officer would be my guess. Go to the PD and tell them you're interested in buying the bike and ask if they can verify it's not hot.

As for carfax, I can no longer log in...course I no longer work for the company that gave us free access.
