I tried furiously to find tickets... and failed. Saw them for 10,000 tour and it blew my mind.
How was it? Details people, details!
TOOL kicks ass. Does anyone listen to A Perfect Circle? It's sort of a spin off band that Maynard James Keenan started up. It's a bit more melodic than Tool is.
Amazing set, loudest band I've ever heard, made your pants vibrate. They did a lot of typical things to their performance style so I hear. Lots of visual overload, lasers, music video-esque art on the screens, and all sorts of smoke, mind altering and non. I'd pay the huge money again in a heart beat.![]()

Damn! You lucky bastards. They absolutely destroy *and* they seem to like Manchester, NH for some reason.
PS: If you're new to Tool you'll love this. Also watch some of their videos. But not unless you turn on all the lights in your house first.

Tweak Brid sucked ass just like every other band that has opened for Tool. ...and ...ummm I don't think that had much to do with the make a wish people.
Great show as usual. I loved it. :-)
Nilez, I've seen APC a few times. Great show as well. Maynard did not actually start APC. That is Billy Howerdel's band that Maynard said he would sing for when Billy was a tech for Tool.

I can resist everything but Pete's mom.
Was the Make-a-Wish dude the drummer for Tweak Bird?
Sunday made show #5 for me. Absolutely amazing live, wish they'd release more live stuff to the public - and play some different songs at their shows. It was great to hear 'Flood', what a kick ass bass intro!
I was section 119, 4th row - just to the right of the stage. Paid $125 through StubHub and worth every penny.

the guy i work with went as a guest! he's good friends with the guitar tech so he had tickets at the will call and sat in the family and friends section. some people have all the luck i guess. he did invite me backstage for an Offspring concert a few years back in nyc though. he's the bass players cousin! i keep trying to get him to get us the electrical gig for the band, but he's got a little girl and doesnt want to travel. maybe someday.
