I dipped a switch I put on my bike today... looks like it will need to be touched up a little but it'll work.
If anyone needs some I have WAY more than I will ever need. The can looks like you could dip about 20 sets of levers, pegs, etc.. with it.

Make sure to close that can up really well, and store it upside down.

For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction - and sometimes a scar...
Yah I just saw that.. they say to put aluminum foil back over it.
I'm going to do the hooks on my bungie net... it was mentioned on the package as a good way to keep your bike from getting scratched.
this stuff sounds pretty cool. Is it basically the stuff they use on the grips of wrenches and stuff like that>
Bras cause cancer.
Yes.. just like that stuff.
My switch is turning out to be way harder than a non-moving piece. I think I'm going to have to remove all the "dip" I put on, and redo it with it mounted in the plastic panel.
I had it done nicely, then when I put it back into the panel I have a threaded collar that holds it on, the threaded collar chewed up enough of the dip that it worked free from operating the switch. Then I tried touching it up again but one side still broke free.
sorry had 2 say it
