unfortunately i can't get to the CPU of the computer i drew it on to save it to a disk, and it's not connected to the internet so i can't post it or email it

so instead i had a dude i work with take a fuckin picture of the monitor & email THAT to me

but anyway, here ya go, crappy quality & all

i'm currently re-working it at my appartment to clear it up & i'll re-post it when it's done... even got NETR on there, too

so.... if you use this do i get a couple shirts for free???

EDIT: Pretty much all done here, folks.... finally

open to suggestions... for right now i'm just keepin it a simple Black & White w/ a couple greys in there too

............................. btw..... i'm doing this in MS Paint & i do NOT have a picture to work w/... only what's in my head, so if ya don't like it then you can fuck off

but if ya have valid suggestions like "smooth this out, trim this down" or somethin, fire away

Can you send me just the image without the text? I need it at an OUTPUT resolution of AT LEAST 300 DPI, preferably 600 DPI...

READ: Pixel size is irrelevent. It's OUTPUT and/or PRINT SIZE and/or RESOLUTION I'm concerned with. Save it as an EPS if possible, TIFF worse case...

If it's output res is set to 72 DPI (most defaults), it's useless to me...

Email it AFTER 4:00 PM to stoneman@nestreetriders.com, or PM me for more clear saving instructions. Gotta keep in mind that the printing world is an entirely different beast than monitor viewing...

hmm... atributes say it's 79x79 dpi... damn

would it work if i blew it up, smoothed everything out, emailed it to you in .bmp form & you shrank it down?

If this pic is somethin you guys like i'll have no problem workin on it for a while. i've already probaly wasted 10-20 hours purely fuckin around w/ this picture from the time i started drawing it like a month ago

so if someone walks me through how i can get the DPI up I'll get it done even if i have to install a new program or somethin.

Please keep in mind that this isn't really about liking the style and/or design, or needing a shirt or shit like that. I'm doing this strictly as a way to generate some revenue to keep the site going. I'll make no bones about trying to turn a profit on these. But ALL of that profit will go directly to keeping this site running and upgraded on a regular basis. As it stands now, we're 3 or 4 versions BEHIND on updates for the message board. And from what I understand, the current version totally mops the floor with the version we're running now...

*IF* we use a motorcycle image, it's gonna be of a bike in street trim. Not a race bike, not a bike in track day guise...

And again, if you're trying to come up with something it *MUST* be done at a high OUTPUT resolution. You can PM me for more details. If it's done at a monitor res. (usually in the neighborhood 72 DPI) it's useless for this application...

OK, will have to look through more pics when I get home tonight. The pic was more just for an idea of "style". Will post up any good ones I can find and get the same type of look. Will post them at the low res.

Jay if you find one that you want to use I'm using Photoshop CS so I should be able to give you a DPI and file type that you want.

If anyone has some good street pics PM me for an email addy and I can play around with them to. I'm definately not a Nefarious when it comes to photoshop but this "style" is just a filter in the software.

This is true only if the original pic was saved at a high res. You can't really convert a low res pic to a high res if it wasn't ORIGINALLY saved at a high res. You CAN increase the pixel size, but that won't cut it...

In CS, you can go into IMAGE SIZE to see what the OUTPUT RESOLUTION is set at. Again though, simply increasing the OUTPUT RESOLUTION of a low res file is only gonna increase the pixel size which is not gonna help in this application...

And don't be fooled by what it looks like when you output it on your basic home printer. You generally don't need a high res pic to look good on a low quality printer (most desktop models are low quality, even the so-called 'good ones'). We output artwork for originals on a TRUE 1200 x 1200 DPI $4500 laser printer. Anything lower than 300 DPI will look like poop when we output it...
