Looking for a decent range in the Nashua area, don't mind driving a little bit for a decent place. Everyone at work is recommending Pelham fish and game...
In the process of piecing together a nice AR for some sort of Comp. shooting, something iv wanted to try but not much going on in Maine where i use to live/shoot.
From what I hear Pelham is by far the most active club around. They are in the process of building a 600 yard rage, and have a huge facility. I would definately recomend them. I'm not a member, but I work with a guy who used to be the president of the club. He took me for a tour of the grounds about a year ago and I was definately impressed.
Not only do they have a nice set up, but being so active, there is a lot going on. I know the Nashua Swat team trains there. I am sure there is a reason they have chosen that club over the many others in the area.
Indoor range in manchester. Manchester Firing line. Outdoor ranges at lots of fish & game clubs, or 300 yards from any inhabited dwelling with a suitable backstop.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
Yea i have a feeling I'll be checking out pelham as soon as I get moved into the New place... The 600 yard range could make fora fun project with the AR I'm in the process of getting parts for
"Could you elaborate on that a bit? Just telling me not to run a specific tire, and giving me no true logical explanation is like telling me I'm going to get my dick sucked tonight, and not by whom."
+1 for Pelham. I checked out Nashua F&G and Pelham F&G and ultimately went with Pelham. It's a great club with a bunch of different ranges and a ton of organized events. I try to stick with the action range at Pelham. You can shoot any type of firearm you want and no one will bother you.
If you're into black rifle and pistol shooting, stay away from the Pelham Utility range. It's usually chock full of FUDs, as is most of Nashua F&G.
Oh, and don't join Pelham for the 600 yard range. It was a work in progress long before I joined the club in 2004 and there's no sign of it opening any time soon.
nashua f&g was a great place back in the 90's through around 2002
now imho pelham is the only way to go.
mfl is a great place if your looking for a indoor range
