I have an '02 KTM 300 EXC I bought new, I'd like to put it on the road. I never paid any tax on it, and have no title or mso. Anyone know how I could go about getting a title? I just would like to be able to do some turkey runs, my shitty little budget doesn't look good for a lot of roadracing this year. thanks

Find a friend in Vermont... A lot of people register the bikes (as in get a plate with a current sticker on it), carry insurance - but don't get them inspected. Registration and inspection are basically unrelated...

When I had Katooms the Not for highway use on the MSO was conveniently located at the very bottom.....snip snip snip

Then DMV did not have KTM so it became a Kawasaki to the DMV

yeah, if you don't mind. I'm not in any tear ass hurry, I really just need to get the thing titled without getting spanked by the reg for never paying sales tax.

You can also try to find someone in NH that's willing to 'buy' it from you, register it up here, then 'sell' it back to you. That way you're buying an already registered-for-street bike. I know for a fact this has worked for a coupla people here...
