    One ugly worm...

Tomato Horn Worm. They will completely defoliate your tomato plants. Pull them off and squish or spray with a dish soap mix. If you listen closely you can hear them crunching the leaves. Good sauteed.

Just kidding. They are terrible sauteed.

    And they turn into these...
Hawk or Sphynx Moths (HummingBird also)...Kinda neat looking but nasty buggers.
Pulled 4 of them off my Bro's plants...Left them to drown in a bucket O'water....

I just cut them in half and watch the green guts flow out, it's a lot less work

Speeking of tasting like tomato's, i think one of the fear factor shows they had to eat them

    One ugly worm...

Since this is now the official "NESR Insect Thread", this guy was outside my slider awhile back. I tossed the flower bud into the web in hopes he would attack, but he didn't budge...turns out these are common garden spiders...Thank god he was on the outside of the house.

    One ugly worm...

If you keep lizards, specifically chameleons, they love the tomato horn worms. You should gather all of them up and sell them to reptile stores. When I had my chameleons, I paid about $15 for a dozen plus shipping.
