Alternate title:"US red light cams aint so bad after all"
I know we've all heard of the draconian traffic laws/enforcement in the UK over the past 4+ years, thousands of traffic cams, huge fines & years long suspensions, paying to drive into the city during the week. This new traffic cam system seems to take big brother to a new level as far as traffic enforcement goes.

Sounds as if the system will track your vehicle from camera to camera throughout the zone, probably calculating your speed the whole way instead of only at the single camera siteThe new Specs3 system can communicate wirelessly and will be able to keep tabs on your average speed in up to a 15-mile radius
I see the next step in the UK being a requirement that all vehicles must be equipped with an ECU that will limit the vehicles speed based on GPS location, the cameras will send out the 20mph max signal![]()
