voice recorders

does anyone have any recommendations on digital voice recorders?

it needs to record as much as 5-1/2 hours, in 1 to 1-1/2 hour increments, be small and light, and creates audio files which are small enough to email to myself

I want to use them for lectures

My phone would do like a 1000 hrs on a 4 gig chip

Note not sure of pickup range though in a lecture hall but I am surprised your phone doesn't do that
