Not my week, got Rearended in the FJ this morning

You think that's going to be repaired? We can't see the rear-end of the FJ in this pic but based on the front-end damage to the pickup that hit him and the damage to the front of the FJ from being knocked into the Wrangler, I'd venture a guess at a total loss.

I was in a very similar accident, albeit while moving and it was a bitch sorting it out with the insurance company. The insurance company tried placing fault on me for damages to the vehicle in front of me that I was pushed into.

While this is possible, if he was at a complete stop its less likely. If he was tailgating the car in front of him when the vehicle behind hit him, I could totally see them trying to spin it this way.

I was at a complete stop when mine occurred. Vehicle in front of me stopped abruptly as a dog had run into the road. I got on the brakes and came to rest roughly 2 feet behind the first vehicle. Car behind me was not as attentive, smashing into my rear and pushing me into the car in front of me. Was sorted in the end but still a headache

From the damage on the front of his truck and the resulting damage on your nose, he must of effin nailed you hard. Looks like that Jeep faired pretty well, tough to see it though.
Keep an eye out for any injuries. Muscle and tendon strains can show up hours later. Hope you're all good.

Keep your chin up. Life can sometimes throw a stick into the spokes, followed by a nail in the tire, followed by..............
Managing the stress and dealing with it in a survival type manor will ultimately make you a stronger person in the end. Stay positive the storm will eventually pass. May your Aunt forever R.I.P.

Thanks everyone. I went to urgent care and may have a fractured elbow. Hurts now. Took xrays and have to get an mri done. In a sling and have to teach an ERC tomorrow and Sunday. Yippee, lol
