Remember my on going lemon law battle with my new truck? yeah, it's still going on and hasn't been settled yet but it's getting closeNo matter what the outcome is, i'm getting rid of the truck and getting a new one as i don't trust it. A law firm in Mass is handling the case and promisses good results with the documentation i gave him but who knows
Anyway, i stopped at a different dealer today and sat down with a salesman to explain the situation i was in. He said he'd do his best to help me out and honestly, i was surprised at the numbers he gave me
We figured in 2 options, first being a possible trade-in of my vehicle, second being a full purchase with no trade (assuming it get's bought back by GM). I had decided either way, i had to order it as both options didn't effect my monthly payments a whole lot
Anyway, i finally ordered exactly what i wanted and it will take 6-8 weeks to get it. I got a GMC 2500HD extra cab with the SLE preferred equipment package, short bed in Sport red metalic. Vortec 8100 V8 with the 5spd Allison Automatic transmission, locking rear differential with a 3.73 ratio, polished aluminum wheels, steering wheel radio controls, power folding/heated/auto dimming mirrors, and the trailer prep package (16,500 lb tow capacity)
