Zillow says I don't own my home and it also has my assessed value almost $50,000 higher than it is. If thier estimated value is accurate,which it never is, mine has gone up over $70,000 more than what I bought it for and they aren't taking into account the work I've done improving it. Then again neither has the town when they assesed it because they never got to come inside.

City assesed value is about as good Zillow, both essentially BS. You're house is worth whatever someone will pay for it. Making a judgemnt on it purely by 1. the outside and 2. houses sold in the area is not accurate. It can be right, just not for the reason that thier valuation is accurate.

Whoa that's pretty cool. Estimate seems a bit low. Some of the info (Bedrooms, sq footage) appears wrong which I'm sure biffed the estimate. It's funny to see the trend over the past 5 and 10 years and compare with other areas and types of homes...

zillow forgot to mention the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom full living room, kitchen, sunroom and basement that was added onto the side of my house. Should be 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bath.

Thanks I just did. I also added in the kitchen that was never on there, the deck and the bathrooms. The previous owner went all out and didn't get a cent back when she sold.
