It does come with a 905 racing crash cage. But Id rather not see it go down. If you do want to race it. let me strip it and sell the pieces first!

I can vouche for this bike as well. I rode a lot with Brett last year and he practically keeps a mini bottle of pledge and a rag under that rear seat cowl in case he accidently rolls through a dirty puddle.

The bike's in great shape. I would've bought it myself over the winter to use as a track bike, but he wasn't selling it then and I ended up picking up an old R6 off this website instead.

I get a few emails off craigslist each week, a few people stop by outside my house when its on the road, but nothing strong off the forums.

I fear its because most gixxer and R1 riders think if they ride 500 miles a year its soooo much. so for a bike to have over 5k is crazy talk. I see it all the time. The mileage scares most people lookin to stunt and "bang around".

I tell everyone you tell me what makes you worried about high mileage, and Ill tell you Ive already repaired, fixed, replaced or done maintenance on it. If I trusted strangers a bit better (I had some bad expiriences with sales), I would put a garantee on this bike for another 10k with no maintenance other than tires and brakes.

Im thinking I may bring it in somewhere for consignment. It looks like it belongs on a show room floor. Maybe get more luck. But the season is still young. I forget that all the fair weather riders are not even thinking about riding yet. But it kills me to sell this bike to a jamoke who wants to beat her up. Its like giving my child away to a sex offender!

I see Techspec stickers and Galfer stickers but there isnt any Techspec on the bike and the hoses are OEM?? Did you forget to install those parts on the bike?

Im still not convinced the lines do much good. Mine are perfectly fine so I didnt feel like buying new ones until the stock ones died.

The stickers came from a buddy who rebuilt his bike with those parts. They either matched my bike and I liked them, or they covered up some minor blemishes.

I do however have aftermarket valves in the front shocks that I put in. Made an incredible difference.
